About DSPFCU

Delaware State Police Federal Credit Union is a cooperative and was organized in 1960 as a federally chartered Credit Union, regulated by the National Credit Union Administration.

Mission Statement

The primary mission of the Delaware State Police Federal Credit Union is to provide quality service to its membership. This service must meet the financial needs of its members, while maintaining a financially stable organization that adheres to generally accepted Credit Union operating standards.

Employees of federal, state, county, and municipal agencies or departments engaged in the police protection industry who work in Kent County, Sussex County, and New Castle County, Delaware; Caroline County, Cecil County, Dorchester County, Kent County, Queen Anne’s County, Somerset County, Talbot County, Wicomico County, Worcester County, Maryland; Chester County, Delaware County, Pennsylvania; Accomack County, and Northampton County, Virginia, meaning;

bulletDrug enforcement agencies;
bulletthe FBI;
bulletfederal police services;
bullethighway patrols;
bulletgovernment marshals’ offices;
bulletsheriffs’ and constables’ office (except court functions);

But not, for example, courts; prosecution offices; parole offices; probation offices; or fire departments;

Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union;
